Liverpool - The Number Ones Album

"İngiltere'den babam çıksa dinlerim" geçenlerde bir arkadaşımla konuşurken İngiliz Müziği hakkında yaptığım yorum buydu. Bu çıkan da, adından da anlaşılabileceği gibi, tam bana göre bir albüm.

Liverpool, 2008'de Avrupa Kültür Başkenti seçildi ve bu albümde bu ismi desteklemek adına yapılan çalışmalardan biri. Albüm, Liverpool'un şimdiye kadar çıkardığı 56 bir numarasının 20 tanesinin coverlarından oluşuyor. Bu albüm, bir dizi konserle devam edecek.

Albüm, Beatles'ın şirketi EMI tarafından çıkarılmış ve albümün geliri, Liverpool'un en büyük 6 hayır kurumuna paylaştırılacak. Albümün tracklisti ve kimlerin kimin şarkılarını coverladığını ve 56 bir numarayı aşağıya yazıyorum.
